Foster Children Safe Haven is a not-for-profit, charitable child welfare organization helping children and teens throughout the following counties: Kern, Tulare, Kings, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange Counties. The people who volunteer for, work for and donate to Foster Children Safe Haven connect vulnerable children with what they need and deserve: loving families who care unconditionally so all children and teens have a chance to lead healthy, productive, independent and happy lives.
Since opening in 2009, the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House has provided comfort, care and support to children and families in Southern California.
The Bakersfield SPCA is Kern County’s original animal welfare agency and only no-kill shelter. Our vision is that one day no healthy companion animal will be euthanized for lack of a home, lack of space or lack of compassion.”
